Some nice lady from the International Songwriting Competition called to say I was chosen as a finalist! I don't know what those folks in Nashville are drinking but, apparently, it impairs their judgement.
That's 15,000 dang entries and only 300 finalists - one of which is "I Got A Girlfriend." Once again, bad taste prevails!

Filmmaker Jim Riffel liked my song
"Got A Mind" so much that he wanted to shoot a music video for it. I was forced to advise him to seek professional help. (But not before squeezing a free video outa him.)
Riffel and his massive film crew shot on location in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the old Rielly compound. I mostly wandered around in the mud looking for my trailer. Watch it.
